Yes, you could also try reducing the amount of tomato/curd. This goes best with chapathi or rice. Do try the neer dosa (plain rice crepe) recipe on the blog as they won't be sour as the batter needs no fermentation. Hope you enjoy those too! Good luck!Shireenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14771273434912629782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7175346781719849592.post-39884214886441621412017-03-11T18:28:36.724+04:002017-03-11T18:28:36.724+04:00hi Shireen this is your Sri lankan fan.

In my country you can not imagine a meat dish without them. but it came nicly at the end with home made dosai. family like it very much .next time i would reduce the amount of tomato and curd since with dosai it was it sour ( may be my curd was sour). all and all it is a goooooooooood dish. thanks a lot.
Aruna
Aruna-gaad45https://www.blogger.com/profile/00223214599796859372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7175346781719849592.post-41436876969530427562013-08-09T22:53:20.953+04:002013-08-09T22:53:20.953+04:00Thanks for the feedback Andrew! Well, since the recipe calls for 1 tsp garam masala powder for 500gm, maybe the flavour stands out and hence tastes a bit like biryani masala (which again is a blend of all the spices mentioned above - just in different proportions). Pls feel free to tone down the garam masala and I am sure it will taste slightly different!
